A PET RABBIT

DIET:

Hay is the most important factor in your rabbit’s diet. A good quality grass or oaten hay should be available at all times. It is important to feed your rabbit a variety of fresh vegetables. Feed 2 to 4 cups per day making sure one or more contain vitamin A.

*Remember to make all dietary changes slowly

VEGETABLES THAT ARE GOOD FOR YOUR RABBIT:

Alfalfa sprouts, Asparagus, Broccoli, Basil, Bok Choy, Beet Greens Tops (A), Brussel Sprouts, Carrot and Tops (A), Clover and Clover Sprouts, Dandelion Greens, Eggplant, Mint, Mustard Greens, Parsley (A), Snow peas/Sugar Snap Peas (A), Peppers, green, red and yellow, Butternut Pumpkin, Pumpkin Leaves, Squash, Watercress (A), Wheat Grass and  Zucchini.             

FRUITS – can be fed once or twice a week (no seeds or pips)

Apple, Blackberries, Blueberries, Melon, Papaya, Peach, Pears, Pineapple, Plum, Raspberries and Strawberries.
