On Saturday 27 September the first contingent of international racehorses arrived in Australia for an assault on the 2014 Spring Racing Carnival.

In the lead up to these world class thoroughbreds touching down, Pet Horse & Farm and Dr Peter Huntington, Leading Equine Nutritionist from Kentucky Equine Research, have been helping to master a range of custom horse mixes specific to the needs of international trainers chasing the spoils of the Melbourne Cup – the world’s richest staying race.

Welcome to the new Pet Horse Farm online shopping experience. Pet Horse Farm had been in operation as a retail shopfront for nearly 50 years in the Essendon area until we closed our doors on Saturday 31 May 2014. While we are missing the face to face interaction with our customers the support we have received for our home delivery service has been overwhelming.
